C-300: NMT apps stop when standby
On my previous mediaplayer (PCH 110) downloads (NZBGet) continued also in standby-mode.
Now the NMT apps from PCH C-300 seem to stop when the device is put in standby.

I think you power it down. When you set the c-300 in 'standbye' is the tft-screen on or off?

Standby the TFT screen is on and the power-button is red instead of white. I just found out NZBGet is still active on standby when allready performing download. Yesterday I couldn't connect to my C-300 anymore with Samba-share or NZBGet (maybe when NMT apps aren't active they also shut down during standby? Could also be something else, will investigate furthermore).

RE: C-300: NMT apps stop when standby
ZenphiR,

I upgraded from A110 to A300. That is not the same as your C300, but perhaps this information will help.

On the A300, the behavior of the on/off button on the remote is different, as is the power indicator. The power indicator has some LEDs:

Red = standby
Amber (Orange) = video off
white = on

I wish the manufacturer would have chosen something besides red/amber because they are very hard to distinguish. There is no physical on/off switch on the A300, like there was on the A110.

In standby mode (red) on the A300, the device has to boot up again when you turn it on and services are stopped. You cannot telnet or use Samba/NFS services to access files on the A300's HD.

In the "video off" mode (amber/orange), the device conserves energy by shutting off display to the TV, but services will still run so you can access files.

This is different than the standby mode on the A110, where standby meant that the video was off, but services were still active.

When on, hold on/off button until red light blinks to put it in standby mode. Otherwise, pressing on/off just once will toggle between "on" and "video off" modes.

I confirmed with the C300 manual that it also has red/amber/white LEDs like the A300.
