RE: A-300 network speed..10/100 or gigabit?!
Before I hook up my new a-300:
I read that the a-300 is supposed to have gigabit ethernet but on the box it says "ethernet 10/100 Mbps"!!
Sound familiar or is sth wrong here?
thx for your help, hans

RE: A-300 network speed
you got a picture?

PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10
13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB

The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box

RE: A-300 network speed
Not right now but I can assure you it says that on the box. Also, in the setup menu (couldn't wait anymore...) as far as network speed settings are concerned, the choice is between auto and 10/100. No mention of gigabit.

Huh

RE: A-300 network speed
logically is right... choice is 1000 or 10/100. they already mentioned GB standard compliance
auto is "system will decide" between both options.
10/100/ is user decides.
User can't decide for a locked-in 1000 option as the system need to be able to fallback.

the choice is between auto and 10/100. what is "auto" if not also GB?
