I switch to the USB HD, connected locally, and the movie plays fine, in 7.1. I thought the PopCorn machines would be virtually plug&play but it has been nothing but a struggle since I bought it 2.5 months ago. Only reason I don't get rid of it is because it's the only player that's been able to pass thru 7.1 audio.
You should've started a new thread for this as your problem is not related to the above.
Since you can play your movies fine from a local USB HDD would suggest that the files and player are not the problem.
It sounds like you have network bandwidth issues, are you wired or wireless, and how high is the bitrate of the movies that are failing?

I don't use MKV for BD movies. For some reason or another, I get issues at time with either stuttering, lag or sound issues. So, I mainly use ClownBD + AnyDVD HD and rip main movie only as M2TS file only.

I only usve MakeMKV for SD movies, and for some reason or another I don't have issues with SD MKV movies.

I got a PCH-A210 a few weeks ago for $120, and it plays all my files without any issues. I don't get no sound lost or anything. I've got a few other friends who own a A300, and sometimes the sound is lost. They usually stop the movie and restarted again, and the sound comes back. I rip all my movies with the original sound plus the secondary AC3 sound track just in case.

PCH has been working on fixing the sound issue, but I think it is more or Syabas problem. So, they are waiting on them to fix it and this can pretty much take forever.

I have a wired (Cat 6) connection. Not only does the HD sound stop, the movie begins to stop and go. As I mentioned, the first 15 min it works fine. Very frustrating. Is there a problem playing 1080P MKV files w/7.1 sound over a network?

But its nothing to do with the thread topic. That's the point. Syabas wont entertain a Bug thread that is a ramble it needs to be kept on topic.
