C200 connected to IP address but not to internet
Good morning!

How are you guys? Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and getting ready to celebrate the New Year.

I coming to you guys for assistance as you all helped me a lot in the past with questions regarding the popcorn hour. Hopefully you will be able to assist me once again.

My wireless modem/router is in the first floor of the house while the C200 is on the 2nd floor. As a result the c200 does not get internet access for it to get the movie thumbnail and info. The only way that I can connect it to the internet is by using either two things. One being the wireless dongle sold by popcorn hour and the other is through a netgear internet kit. I bought the wireless dongle by popcorn hour and it worked for a couple of weeks. Now it does not work at all. So I bought the Netgear thing.
I hooked it up on December 26th and every thing was working well on the c200 and the ps3. Yesterday I hooked up my external hdd to the popcorn hour to update some new movies that I added.

What happened: the c200 shows as having the ip address but when I when I set it to update the new movie info it says there is no internet connection. To test if there was an internet connection I opened the app section on the c200 and was able to acces the weather, etc. I also was able to access the internet through the ps3.

I have done several things to see if I can get the c200 to connect to theinternet. Things I did are: unpluged the power cord from the c200, changed the ethernet cable, changed to another ethernet port, changed from auto ip to manual ip and hit save, then back from manual ip to auto ip. Unfortunately none of these things worked. Still no go!

Any suggestions?
