Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. I just bought the a-300 player today. Can I can connect the player to PC using the usb3.0 slave cable to access my hdd?

That's the idea of it. Follow this guide and remember you cannot use your A300 at the same time as you are connecting it to your PC:
