[NMJ v1] IMDB has started returning 'Year' instead of correct movie titles.

Recently I have started having issue adding movie to my NMJ v1. Has IMDB changed something on their site as all my movies are showing up with Years as their title. Example: 'Stone (2010).mkv' is showing up as '2010' and Dune (1984).mkv' vs '1984'. I didn't know there were some may movies with years for titles ;-) This has also started happening on my father c200 as well. Does NMJ v2 still use IMDB or does it use TMDB instead? If IMDB has changed something when can we get a fix for v1 or is v2 close enough to just wait for it's c200 release?
I am running the latest firmware and my father the previous.

Support asked me for a list of movies that were corrupted. I found that all my movies that contained more than one disk were getting all mixed up and showing up as episodes to other movies. They came back saying that they had reset the 2 disk movies that I reported, but they didn't do anything about the movies that were showing up as 'Years'.

Does the PCH actually get it's data from servers at PCH and not directly from IMDB?

I asked them about my other movies and I guess I have to wait. I was about to rebuild my PCH thinking it was just FUBAR, but now I think their system is.

My music has also stopped showing up after building a new db. A few months ago it stopped processing all my .wav albumes, but now it is only loading 2 of 300 .flac albums. This used to work!

Correct, it's a commercial product and licensing requires they handle all the data requests so there is metadata server(s) they run that you communicate with.. it's also why they can do things like fix detection bugs without releasing a new firmware.

oh and btw, they haven't used imdb for about a year now.. your data comes from themoviedb and thetvdb with subtitles comes from opensubtitles.

So here is my conversation w/ Support where they were able to fix some movies by updating their Movie db and finally reproduce the major issue at hand and gave me a bug tracker ID, but no ETA.

Our QA department was able to reproduce the error video tagging for the recently reported movies. This issue is officially an bug and registered in to our bug tracking system with the ID 5003459

We appreciate that you have reported this however it may take some time to resolve it.

19 I didn't here back from you. Sense we last spoke I have reset factory defaults, removed NMT Apps and recovered the firmware to address the issue I was having w/ my flac tags.

I am still having issues w/ all the movies that I am expecting to work as I am giving the system the year info, so it should not be having trouble. I am also still having issue w/ the following:

The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian (2008).mkv shows up as an episode of The Chronicles of Narnia - The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010).mkv

16 I am surprised that it 'guesses' wrong on so many movies and couldn't find many others. I thought we were putting the year into the name so this wouldn't happen. I think the ones it couldn't find might be because the names on imdb and themoviedb both have ':' in their names, which I have replaced with a dash because you can't use a colon in the file name.

15 Dear Adam,

These title showed up fine on our end, as the NMJ uses your filename to "guesstimate" the cover art and info, it is rarely that it will get it the first time round, this is the reason why we have the EDIT feature.

This is not related to the Year issue as previously reported which was a cache issue.

10 I have rebuild my db already and it only processing 2 albums. This used to work perfectly and then I lost my .wav files a few months ago and now I get 2 of 300 .flac albums when I rebuild my db.

Does the PCH check in with your servers for each update? I thought it got data from IMDB??

What about all my other movies that are getting messed up. The following all get mixed up.

8 Can I have an update on my case please. Has my PCH become corrupted or is something else causing this? Last night I went to re-add all my music and it only create 2 of 300 albums, the rest fell into unknown. This only odd thing I see is that they are my most two recent additions. Before I had seen that it stopped picking up all my .wav files and put them all into Unknown, but this is too much. Do I need to reset it to factory defaults and rebuild it?

6 I found more on the Lord of the Rings movies. The Disk 1 and 2 got split up and both showed up in place of other movies (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Inception (2010) and Independence Day (1996)). I was able to fix the movies mislabeled as Lord of the Rings movies but I can not fix Lord of the Rings movies nor Amadeus even after using NMJToolbox Utils and then run an update scan from NMJ. I also tried moving the files and deleting them from NMJ and re-adding them. Only after adding them vi NMJToolbox was I able to get them to appear on NMJ but NMJ seems to hang when I try and add Poster and Wallpaper.

5 There are a few other things that have all started at the same time.
I also have movies showing up as other movies. The Lord of the Rings movies listed below at first show up in place of Christmas Vacation (1989), Clash of the Titans (2010), Cinderella (1950) and one of the Star Wars movies show up in place of Bill Cosby: Himself (1983). To fix them I had to update the imdb tt number via NMJ and then run Scan again.

All my movies that have more than one disk have started messing up. The following all show up as undefined when I search By TV Series and I am unable to fix using NMJ.

I had big expectations when I ordered my A400, but I am very sad to see that this has still not been fixed and I spent the next several hours fixing it. Has the feature to move a show been removed in NMJ2?
