A-300 Resets itself

I discovered the following: The problem of resetting occurs only if the Popcorn hour is completely disabled (power + delete) in standby mode it never happens!

I had the same problem in the beginning. Reflashing the firmware a couple of times solved it.

I've had this problem once.
I'm on 1 March 2012 firmware. Internal HDD WD GP 1TB, PCH formatted.
Over night it was a main power failure. The player was OFF (red LED).
In the morning, the player was ON, but with all settings to factory defaults. All network shares were deleted, even the network patch was undone (the TCP Receive Window was back again 5290, instead of 32000 after the patch).
So I had to reinstall my player from scratch. A lot of work to do.

I hope it's a firmware problem that could be addressed and fixed in future updates.
Don't even want to think that it could also be a hardware design problem ...
Time will tell.

Mine did this the other day as well. Then it worked for a few days, and now I can't get it to play any files after reloading firmware and factory reset. Waiting for Popcorn Hour support to advise me on the next step.

the new firmware ([C-300] Firmware 05-02-120710-23-POP-420 (05-02-111220-23-POP-420) (10.07.2012)) did the trick?


Perhaps it is too early to see if the above problem is solved.
But please let it know on this forum if resets still occur.
