Well, it's a YAMJ issue. The codec parts are currently under development.
I'm mainly using NFO files for my movies.

You are right. It's not an issue with media info. That works fine.

Is there a DTS-HD or DTS-MA icon we can use for evZap!?

How do you specify DTS-HD/MA audio in an NFO file? What's the format? (i'm searching now, but maybe you can beat me to this answer)

One thing I always liked about the xbmc community is a bunch of people just jumping in to make packs. a lot of the icons for codecs and such exist because of them. I think it might be nice to start trying to do that here, I wish I could help but I can't do graphics but maybe it's time to start putting together some general jukebox resources like these icons.

Ok, so i'm trying to make changes to footer_indexinfo.xml.

I have been making my changes in this file to point to different things based on the value. I even tested it with changing an existing value I know works to point to a different png file to see if I could see a change... e.g.,

I then erase all the skin folders in my Jukebox root and re-run YAMJ. YAMJ recreates all the skin folders, but I don't see my change.

What am I doing wrong?

Now I see that I was editing the pop-up info footer, and not the details page footer, but I am now unfortunately re-building my entire 1000+ movie library right now.

Which one of these is the details' page footer?
footer_set.xml (for infolist and infolistbanner)
footer_infowall.xml (for infowall and infobanner)

footers are a yamj thing, not an eversion thing. you need to delete all the footer files for each title for yamj to remake them.

Ok, i'm totally lost here. I don't see a footer file being made at all for each title in my Jukebox directory.

Are you talking about the *.xml file that is made in the Jukebox folder for each title?

Because I thought, in Eversion, that it was using xml overlays, which somehow used the footer_infoset.xml files defined in the evZap skin resources folder to create the footer on the details page at runtime.

overlays and footers are made/applied by yamj when you run yamj. I don't know evzap at all so my guess is your missing some skin-user.properties setting to use it. It's a newer yamj thing so there is a chance that if your using cleanup, there might still be some bugs where yamj is deleting the files just after making them.

More help than that, someone more in tune with evzap will have to chime in and help.

If I understood you correctly, you wanted to modify the mediainfo icons on the bottom of the movie/tv detail pages, right?

The simple answer is these screens don't use footer overlays. That fact may be a bit hidden in the manual, see 5.3.1 first "Note". You have to edit the common.movie.eskin, tv1.eskin and/or tv2.eskin.
Look for

I found that out myself yesterday. YAMJ has changed the "footer" parameters (r2876 and higher).
Footers won't be created anymore if you use the old settings!
If you use YAMJ r2876 or higher, change in skin-user.properties:

Yes, you have to adjust the x/y positions and size of thumbnails/banners... (wallfull.eskin, infobanner.eskin, etc.) if you switch to xmlOverlays. The reason is, the frames are now part of the whole thumbnail image. Look for the dimension and position of the frames in the eskin files and try using them for the xmlOverlay-thumbnails.
The "videosource" bars are too small, they should have been 150x17 px - my mistake, I'll fix that in the next release.
And yes, the original frames seem to be still on the screen. Did you delete them in eskin/eversion/eskins/evZap/code/wallfull.eskin AND Jukebox/evZap/code/wallfull.eskin? The first folder is for (initial) YAMJ/skin creation, the second one is what you finnaly see on your screen.

There can be several reasons for this.

Did you build a new Jukebox from the scratch?
If so, did you use the user-skin.properties from the evZap package?

If you used an existing Jukebox did you set "mjb.forceFanartOverwrite=true"? Fanart has to be rebuild.
Try deleting 1-2 fanart images in your Jukebox and start a YAMJ rescan to see if these fanarts get the overlay now.
