PchTrakt

PchTrakt is a small software that enables your popcorn 200 and 300 series to communicate with trakt.tv to scrobble what you are watching.

Features:

• Trakt scrobbling (TV Series/Movies)
• BetaSeries scrobbling (French website like trakt) (TV Series)
• Create a .watched file for YAMJ/Eversion
• Ignore folder and/or genre
• Auto-update

Install notes:
Before installing pchtrakt, you must first install the "local" package with C.S.I
local (currently version 0.1.8-nmt2) should be in the application tab of CSI.
If it's not the case, or you are experiencing issues (http://ReplaceByPopcornIP:9999/local_web/ returns an error or shows no plackages) go to this post and install local with the zip file (just like pchtrakt just bellow)

In C.S.I. > File > Install from file > pchtrakt.zip -- First installation can take some time because of the dependencies. (around 3 minutes) Please be patient
With SAMBA or FTP, go to \\your_popcorn_IP\share\Apps\pchtrakt\ and edit pchtrakt.ini to add your trakt login and password. (we are working on a better way to do this)

Then restart pchtrakt.

You are good to go!
Play some files, and don't forget that the naming of the files matters!

For example:
The Big Bang Theory - S01E02 - episode title.mkv will work.
Tbbt0102.mkv will not work.

For the watched file:

• watched means you activate the feature.
• watched_with_video means you want to create the .watched file in the same repertory that the video file
• path is used when you want the .watched files to be all in the same repertory or if you launch PchTrakt from another computer than the popcorn
  

Attention:
YAMJ still need to be re-run after the file creation to apply changes to your yamj/eversion skins!
The file is created when you go over than 90% of the video's length to prevent movie you stop for any reason to be flagged as seen.

I'm interested in testing. I just found trakt.tv and created an account, I had been using SeriesGuide on my phone to keep track of what tvshows I have watched. I watch both movies and tvshows. I have the C-200.

wasn't really trying to make a point, just found it odd to have a public project but people who could be trying or even helping with it had no clue it was freely available.

I personally like starting a project more in private, but I don't use a public repository so I understand both mind sets.

Yes, It was a bit of that... but now that we have something working I guess we can just open it to more people.

Will it going to work with PCH A300 also? (sorry for asking bcoz alot of stuff not ok with A300 )
I am using trakt.tv with XBMC and now adding PCH A300 to another TV.

I have no idea if it's working with the 300 series but a easy test will tell us.

Can you play some video files on your popcorn, open your web browser and go to **edited**

If you can see some informations about what you are playing (file name, duration,... ) , then it should work.

Hi,

I've been running the app and it works great for tv shows. But I've noticed the moment I watch a movie, it will not scrobble and if I switch to a tvshow right after, it will also not scrobble. But once I reset the pch, scrobbling of tv shows works again.

Any ideas?
