c200 audio problem [intermittent audio loss]
Dear All,

My first post here: I have an annoying problem with my c200 and can't figure it out after weeks of googling so I'm opening this thread.

The problem is that when I watch a film (any type) or listen to the music (mp3) after random intervals (let's say once every minute in average) the sound goes away for half a second or so and then continues normally. During films there's no syncing problem at all and the video is not interrupted or anything. Just like if I muted the system for these short periods. My c200 is connected to my tv with HDMI and I only listen to the audio via my tv. I can't remember what could have initiated the problem, I didn't do any updates, the phenomenon just appeared a month ago.

I had some CSI softwares installed, but I already performed a deep clean with the CSI installer, and reinstalled NMT apps. Currently I don't have any additional software installed. I did a factory reset from the maintenance menu on my c200. Nothing helped. Previously, I opened a Lundman shell and ran a 'top' command but couldn't see any strange processes that would slow down the system during these periods. I planned to reinstall the firmware again (I have the newest), but since there's no downloadable version, I couldn't do it.

Any ideas? I would really appreciate any help as this stuff drives me crazy...

Cheers,
xun

Try a different HDMI port on your TV - that was my issue.
