transfer from pc to popcorn

Hello to everyone. I am an absolute beginner. how do I transfer movies from a computer on the Popcorn Hour A-300 , via usb. Thanks in advance.

First I don't think it's possible to connect your PC and the PCH with USB. You can transport your movies with a USB stick, or through the network. First you need to know if the latest firmware is on the PCH. Do you have a internal hd? If so, you must install the NMT programs on the harddisk. After that you can transfer your files through the network. There are many howto´s on this forum, you just have to find it.

You should use a ftp software for transferring your videos from PC to PCH, its the fastest way.

Look up for the ip address on your Popcorn Hour so that you can make connection with it.
Username: nmt
Password: 1234

yes you can connect a-300 directly to pc and transfer

the fastest way is with the blue usb 3.0 wire. to your pc. I had a problem with that ext3 too If I recall right I downloaded a different version. i have 64bit win 7 and can transfer at 62 mB/sec

If using USB you must use the USB Slave port on the rear of the unit. It's USB3 and there is a supplied blue cable.
WIKI has a page on USB Slave.

Do NOt use the player for anything else whilst you are connected via USB Slave.
