RE: myiHome 5.0.2 Release for Windows, Mac and Linux
I really tried guys but it just wasnt possible for RMVB for this release.
The return key function change is really annoying me, does anyone prefer it as it is now or are we all of the opinion to change it back? MyiHome works perfect on my Vista 64 SP1. At first, the same error ocurred when trying to add a "watch folder", but I remembered I had the executables in windows2000 compatibiltiy mode, and disabling this made it work!

I don't recall one single person asking that it be done! I'm not updating from my current version of MyiHome until they change it back. The change I WOULD like is a constantly scrolling list rather than individual pages, however the PCH may not have enough memory to do that. The other thing I would like is for it to use a smaller font so more text fits on the screen. Some files have such long names you can't tell what they are from the PCH list. |

Constantly scrolling list is a huge request from tons of people, don't think the PCH will ever be able to do it. We're always gonna be stuck with slow browsing

RE: myiHome 5.0.2 Release for Windows, Mac and Linux
i noticed a problem but im not sure if its just me. i was browsing my added folders...my computer neeed a reboot. PCH obviously can no longer find the directory, prompts me to press the return key. I press the return key and it thinks for a bit, then nothing. I'm using a Logitech Harmony remote so i thought maybe my return key wasnt mapped correctly, but it is fine. What i ended up having to do was use the menu button, but i did not have that mapped at the time. Shouldnt the return key in this case take you back to sources or something??
Before i found out you could use the menu key it was quite annoying because i was stuck on that page forever...even after unplugging the PCH and plugging it back in. |

RE: myiHome 5.0.2 Release for Windows, Mac and Linux
try taking off the win2k compatability mode, that should no longer be required in the x64 version of myihome. if that doesnt work, reinstall. i know when i first upgraded it also didnt work, but i do have it working now. keep trying!

Same here, uninstall, download the 64 bit version, install, check program compatability is NOT W2K, then try it. Also make sure you have itunes installed if you have checked the itunes compatability box in myihome preferences.

You know, I always thought that the changes to the Return button was an issue with the firmware and not myiHome.. i could swear it worked prior to some of the recent version of the beta? Hmm.. guess Ill go back and try again and see what's up. Also, I agree... the scrolling can be a bit tedious, specially with the delay. Maybe we could get rid of some of the 'white/blue' space on the side?... just an idea. |

No RMVB support which was expected this release Any idea when the next release with RMVB support will be out? I really like to play my RMVB files from the NMT player. Thanks for the hard work. |
