...so I updated YAMJ to the latest (r2892). The above issue was resolved by the update but now a new problem has crept in. I lost all my overlays and am getting the error "The moviejukebox overlay configuration file you specified is invalid: overlay-default.xml" when I try to build the library.

My overlay-default.xml file is in the root YAMJ directory like it always has been but I guess YAMJ just can't see it for some reason. I have verified my skin.properties file has the correct entries - for instance: "posters.xmlOverlayFile=overlay-default.xml" Has something changed regarding the default locations or the format of this file?

I know some will say I need to update my skin but I am using a heavily customized AEON (which is no longer under development) so that really isn't an option. If I can find out what change is causing the problem, I feel confident I can fix it.

For anyone else having this problem, it seems the default dir for this file is now YAMJ/skins/default/overlay-default.xml as opposed to YAMJ/overlay-default.xml where it used to be. Once I moved the file into the default skin folder, everything went smooth.

is default your skin directory name? it shouldn't be defaulted to there I'm seeing in the wiki the overlays have been heavily changed lately and nobody has been updating it.

Yes, default is my skin directory name. For whatever reason, it is looking there.

It now appears I have another problem. None of the TV Series information is being scraped from the internet. I have the following errors repeating:

TheMovieDb API] DOMHelper: Error parsing: http://api.themoviedb.org/2.1/Movie.imdbLookup/en/xml/[APIKEY]/tt0118688

[TheTVDB API] Banners error: {0}

Any ideas? I may have to start another thread. *sigh*

i'm having the same issue. i have:

mjb.skin.dir=./skins/default
mjb.overlay.skinroot=true
mjb.overlay.dir=./resources
mjb.overlay.resources=.

in the skin i have:
thumbnails.xmlOverlay=true
thumbnails.xmlOverlayFile=my_overlay.xml

the file my_overlay is in yamj root, skin root, skin resources dir, and none of them gets recognized.

don't know what else to do, can anyone help?
