Is this a necessary YAMJ variable? homePage=Other_Movies_1

I started using TOMY about a week ago and really like it but it is putting a variable in that is causing me some issues. It adds the following variables:

homePage=Other_Movies_1
mjb.homePage=Other_Movies_1

This variable:
homePage=Other_Movies_1

is causing a problem for me. If I manually # the variable and run YAMJ from the command line the skin works as expected. I push home and I am returned to the main page. If the variable is active (ie no #) then the first time I push home an error and the second time the expected behavior.

I asked about this on the TOMY thread and Auggie, the person who wrote the program (who is always very helpful) said the following:

"instructions posted regarding YAMJ 2.5 that said the homePage variable must be added to ensure continued functionality; without that define in place, "older" skins such as Aeon were failing"

Do I need an updated Aeon skin? I think I am using the most current. I even tried the GTSabish skin which I think is an updated Aeon and had the same results.

Did you also install the Home Button fix for SabishGT? You can overlook it quite easily in the thread:

I did not, any idea what it does? Like I said I can fix it by # 1 variable.

yamj made a chance/cleanup where homepage became mjb.homepage. some skins updated, some skins didn't.. some skins made a patch..

the tomy fix of adding in both variables will get yamj to run, however when you use the variable, your seeing the impact of it not really being fixed.

Thanks accident, so the mjb command is the most current command and the command that I am # is the old command correct?

No clue, I dont' do html skins anymore.. aeon is abandoned and nobody is stepping up to fix it up.. sabishgt is based on aeon+mods and updated but you need that patch someone listed..

I'm not sure how many people actually use the setting so it's possible there's only 5 or 6 people like yourself that even know there is a problem with the quick double variable fix..

That makes sence, so it someone just uses the default home page the variable never comes into play.

the mjb.homePage is the correct one.
