PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box |

Furthermore the WiFi card and the wires attached to it are rather vulnerable. Therefore I think it would be better to be patient and await the new firmware update instead if de-install en re-install WLAN card and manufacturers firmware over and over. Is there any signal when the firmware update will be released to solve this bug? Does it have more priority (a quick release) due to this unexpected failure of WLAN or could it also take another month? I know your not the manufacturer, but you might know due to your experience... |

This forum is no longer involved in any testing of new firmware so we moderators don't have a clue as to what is being developed and when it will be ready...
To bad you can't unplug the WLan card.. I just had contact with the Dutch helpdesk of Popcorn and the new firmware update will be released before the end of this month and should solve this problem! I will wait patiently... Thanks again for your help. |

I don't have any major audio issues with my A300 so why would this be in the C300.
Possible cause for your issue as far as I can tell is transfer speed related.. either network or optical drive... I too think its a little bit ridiculous that a company would release firmware without even testing to make sure that all features continue to work afterwards. It shouldnt take more than an hour or two for one person to make a list and go through and check to make sure everything is working. Obviously certain bugs may go unnoticed, but something as basic as internet connectivity should be obvious. A tiny bit of time/effort on their part could do wonders to improve customer opinion/satisfaction.

I cant isntall this firmware at all. I tried online and i tried to put is on root directory on USB, its seems that nothing is going on.
Any help? When i try online the C-300 just freez ![]() I am on this window, and when i press the green key the C-300 is freezing and i have to restart it with the power key. PCH C-300 NAS Synology DSM211+ YAMAHA YHT-591BL Toshiba 40RV525U |

No idea if this helps but after installing this latest firmware my audio also had problems, all non Dolby Digital and non DTS tracks gave only pink noise. Changing audio settings didn't help but after a few minutes unsuccesfull trying more I got the idea maybe it would be some initialisation issue. So I powered down my C-300 (with power button on the back of the player) and put it on again after 20 seconds. Problems disappeared and my C-300 works fine now. |

Doing a full reboot before upgrading a FW is also advisable as is after the FW upgrade has completed, to check all configuration setting and resave them and do a full reboot.
