Stream music directly from your 200/300 to your Squeezebox and Music, photos, and videos on your Revue.

It doesn't matter if your library includes 100 tracks or 100,000. Or if you rip your own CDs or buy your music from services like iTunes and Amazon MP3.

Logitech Media Server (formerly SlimServer, SqueezeCenter and Squeezebox Server) is a streaming audio server supported by Logitech (formerly Slim Devices), developed in particular to support their Squeezebox range of digital audio receivers.

The software is designed for streaming music over a network, allowing users to play their music collections from virtually anywhere there is an Internet connection. It supports a large number of audio formats including MP3, FLAC, WAV, Ogg, and AAC, as well as transcoding. It can stream to both software and hardware receivers, including the various Squeezebox models, as well as any media player capable of playing MP3 streams.

I just tried to install it with the opkg web interface but no luck. Is sais: opkg_conf_load: Could not lock /share/Apps/local/lib/opkg/lock: Resource temporarily unavailable.
Has this to do with somekind of permission? I hope someone can help me with this.

If you are using NTFS formatted drive for Apps, you may have the above issue.

Already compiled with ALAC support. It is nothing but a binary needs to be there in place. If doesn't work, please let me know, so that I'll change the binary location for 7.7.1 too.

The directory for Bin has been renamed. Please reinstall the same from opkg by using -force-reinstall option after opkg update.
