C-300: sometimes USB-drive doesn't appear in filebrowser
I have attached 4 external USB-drives (2X 1 Tb, 2X 1.5 Tb -all Western Digital Elements) on my C-300. When my C-300 is booted to GUI and I push the power switch that turns on all 4 USB-drives the following happens:
Sometimes all 4 drives appear in filebrowser (5 including internal). A lot of times 1 USB-drive (random) doesn't appear in filebrowser. It seems when drives are loaded their [device name] shortly appear on screen. A lot of times however one of four drives appear to load as [share] instead as [device name] and then that drive doesn't appear in filebrowser. Firmware Version : 05-01-120116-23-POP-420-000 NMT apps: 05-01-111007-23-POP-420 Popcorn Hour C-300: 3Gb HD(internal) & Lan |

RE: C-300: sometimes USB-drive doesn't appear in filebrowser
I have the same problem on my A300
Problem is less frequent if USB drive are on before the A300 is switched on or rebooted. A powered hub also helps... why I don't know.. PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box |

[Problem is less frequent if USB drive are on before the A300 is switched on or rebooted.]
That is a nice suggestion that seems to work most of the time ![]() Still a strange/interesting phenomenon... |
