RE: Compiling SqueezeSlave for C200
No, I installed mpd on my PCH-C200, and now I use the PCH as a mpd server. The SPDIF digital output is connected to an external DAC, analog outputs work pretty well too. I remotely control the mpd server with an Android tablet, running a mpd client, freely downloadable from the market.
My only complain is about internet radios, as with mpd I have to search and store links to my favourite stations. The SqueezePlay interface is much more friendly for radios, and also provides a selection of good channels. In conclusion, I still love the SqueezeBox paradigm the most, but mpd is a valid alternative. This experience once again proved that the PCH-C200 is a versatile device. All the best.
