I would just like to determine which files won't play so I can do something about them before I sit comfortably on my couch and then start swearing when it doesn't play. No! you are not the only one having this problem! Alot of my mkv files does the same! I really got sick of it Am using HMDI cable from my laptop to play the mkv's

I've got the same problem on my A-110. I recently bought a A-200 and the sames (problem)files are working fine on this unit.

RE: Problem playing files (need Remux)
I just found this thread and having the same problem with my old A100 over the past 6 months or so . There are some new ones that won't play at all so I have to play them via my TiVo or look for different version. One NZB group I went to said that there had been a PCH fix end of July but it looks like for 200 and later models. Maybe time to upgrade as I don't think that there will any further software updates for the old 100 series units.
This is one of the 2008 originals and has been rock solid since day one.. Regards, paulW |

I'm not sure if your making a statement or asking a question but it's hard to guess what patch your referring too or the videos that won't play.

Turn subtitles off: Go in Setup --> Preferences --> Subtitle language and pick none. I did a restart and BAMM playing all mkv's now =) |
