Agree It's quite frustrating for TV series - I am a new owner of A-300 and recently discovered the video scaling issue as well. The more I get to know the A-300 the more I regret having bought this product. The functionality and support provided by Syabas is nothing less than pathetic. Seriously considering to put up a thread to let people know of these big short comings, so they can stay away from the A-300 till such major issues (like scaling) are solved, at least they won't discover it the hard way. This just might end up being my first and last PCH, I am quiet sure no one care, specially not Syabas.

RE: A-300 Subtitles
Yes, support of external subtitles is very messy (not only .srt). Sometimes a file not recognized at all, sometimes it's constantly off in subtitle menu, sometimes subtitles hardly out of sync at the end (80%) of a movie. And the same subtitle file works perfectly on my old Iomega device or PC's player.
I bought PHP to stop converting anything any more. And I have no plans to convert my .avi collection to anything else. A300 +Component/Optical out +NMT@USBflash -Jukebox |
