Where do we get our tracking?

My unit got shipped on Jan 20th according to the update section, but I did not receive an e-mail with a tracking or can't find tracking info in Google Wallet.

How do I get it?

I talked to Syabas this evening and the 20th batch did ship on Friday.

Due to the Chinese New Year there is only a small staff working so they are slowly sending out tracking numbers. Don't be surprised if your shinny new x-300 arrives before you get a tracking number.

If you are in the US they should arrive tuesday or wednesday.

Didn't know this shipped out of China directly... they charged me 39.90$, so I guess this is China Express EMS? It didn't specify.

I'm upgrading from an A-110 to a C-300... will I notice a difference?

I think they use DHL. It is only a 2-3 day shipping time to the US, so I assume Canada is similar.

It depends upon how you use the A-110. If you stream via MyiHome, that will no longer work (so some threads have mentioned). NFS / CIFS should be about the same as they are now. The biggest diff from A-110 > newer is the ability to play BD ISO's and Rips.

The 300 series is more about a much nicer and cleaner UI. The C series adds RF remote and the ability to install a BR drive into the PCH.

Never used MyHome, but used YAMJ. I have a 300+ BRIP movie library and over 1TB of TV shows in 720p all on a 10TB ZFS server, so I'm looking forward the painless C300's jukeboxing ability. YAMJ is quite a lot of work to maintain, and there is always something that went wrong with the networking. I've passed cat5e wires now so everything will run over a gigabit network, should help.

So good looking/painless jukebox UI + faster is what I hope for.

Ahh figures the one thing I forgot to mention... The 300 series does not have Gaya, so no more HTML Jukeboxes. You need Eversion there are some topics on this already or ask Accident Since they replaced HTML/Gaya with Flash.

Ahh I don't think it actually has full gigabit on the PCH yet. There is another thread on this but gigabit is not really needed unless you are coping files from a local machine to the PCH' hard drive.

What OS/Hardware do you use for the ZFS server? I currently use eSATA hardware RAID 10 connected to a Mac with NFS out to the PCH's. Am considering a more to ZFS/RAID-Z (Thanks Lundman )
