Network share problems and cannot delete anything

I have just got my A300 and have been trying to set up network shares with much difficulty.

I have managed to set up shares on my Mac OSX Lion and can see the A300 hard-drive through smb on the Mac so am able to drop media directly onto the drive which is great but cannot access my Mac directly from the A300 and am not sure its possible.

I have tried many configurations but all to no avail and now I have loads of networks shares set up on the A300 that for some reason I cannot delete.

When I try deleting them via the delete button or the delete symbol within the GUI it says the share is deleted but it does not delete it, I have tried deleting and then rebooting straight away but still the old shares remain.

I'm now thinking I might have a faulty machine, anybody else experiencing the same problem.

If you can "Reset to factory settings" the shares should disappear.

Yes I think that will work but surely you should be able to delete these without a hard reset, as I will loose all my other settings.....

If this is a common issue then it might be fixed via new firmware which I will put up with, I am just trying to establish if this is the case or I have a faulty machine that needs to be returned before my 14 days cooling off period is up.

I have never had it happen, but then I haven't created and edited as many shares as you seem to have done.
If it's fixed by a reset then your hardware should be fine. Probably just bugs in the firmware.
