copy nmj database to external drive
Hi guys .
I have a network share connected to my a200 which all my movies are located there , I use the NMJ and it is great . My friend has just bought a new a200 also and asked me to activate the NMJ . He gave me an external hard drive and I have coppied my movies folder to that drive including the nmj_database folder so he won't need to recreate it . I have attached the new external drive to his device and browsed to the movies folder . I then pressed the red button to activate the NMJ but for some reason the NMJ is trying to scan the disk again , the thing is that currently he does not connected to the internet . my question is : why is it trying to scan the movies folder again ? I thought that it would use the nmj_database folder that was coppied together with the movies folder , am I missing something ? is there other files that I need to copy ? Thanks |

RE: copy nmj database to external drive
Yes, the path to the files will be wrong so nothing would play. It will look at the media.db file and check the location, see that it is not for an external drive and therefore ask to scan.
Let it scan the external HDD. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
