Happens 4320000 times a day or 8726400 times a day depending where you are in the world.

RE: Does the A300 cause speakers to hum?
I did read somewhere that someone resolved the problem by changing the PSU?

Ethernet, HDMI, cableTV, ect... if one of them is leaking currents it can interfere with audio, video or network performance. In the old analog days on my audio system the trick was to connect all chassis together with a ground wire to the earth socket.... but I don't know if that is safe to do in the digital setup. RE: Does the A300 cause speakers to hum?
in the old days i used 1 - 1 transformer on my audio paths ... when these where all analog there was no problem and no ground loop...
the other solution is too make sure they all have the same ground .... With A210 with the metal chassis i expect that the chasis is connected too some sort of earth .... so if you connect that too an earth which is the same as the television it all works fine . just make sure there is an easier path for the earth too go trough which is not your audio path

RE: Does the A300 cause speakers to hum?
If the a300 doesn't hum/buzz then this will be a great reason to upgrade! Can someone confirm this?????

Can someone confirm this????? did you even read the above posts or got a clue as to what groundloop is? My A200 never 'hummed' nor does my A300... But if there is a electrical problem in your setup... replacing the A200 for an A300 will have a big chance of keeping the 'hum' PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box |

RE: Does the A300 cause speakers to hum?
Er. I put a hardrive in the A300 and everytime it spins up I hear it in the speakers!! So instead of removing the amp from the power strip that it shares with the A300, I removed the A300 and now the noise is gone.
