File renamer, info and directory structure?
Up until now I have just put all of my downloads into one folder on my NAS (QNAP TS219P+), i.e movies and have used YANFOE to manage the collection and get artwork before running YAMJ.

But now I am thinking it would be better to put one movie or TV series into a seperate folder?

Also, is there a way of mass checking and renaming my files and also putting them into individual folders?

Also, is my process correct or is there a better way I could do it? Run YANFOE, then YAMJ, or could I ditch YANFOE?

Thanks

RE: File renamer, info and directory structure?
It's all personal preference but the 1 title per folder layout is much more compatible with a wide variety of tools and htpc/jukebox software. many use therenamer to help them properly name their files and move them into folders. It's rather tidy when you start talking baout saving nfo files and local artwork with the media files.

yamj does get the data on it's own. It really comes down to if you want the full control of picking all the images and seeing that it's detected right. I"ve never used yanfoe, emm, xbne, my movie companion or any of the other applications to do this.

RE: File renamer, info and directory structure?
Ok in the process of 1 titile per folder, but should I do the structure like this: -

/tvm/m/movie1 (movies in own folders)
/tvm/tv/tv1 (each tv series in own folders)

Will this cause any probs in YAMJ?

Thanks
