PCH C-300 BD Backup Playback Issue

Hi Guys,

I have a BD Backup of a movie which consist of multiple m2ts files. Not a single track m2ts file for the whole movie.

So, as far as I know (assume) the playlist file contains the information and sequence of all of the m2ts files in the BDMV directory that make up the movie.

The problem I find is that the C-300 plays the movie for a about 1 or 2 minutes and than freezes. Assuming when it changes to the next file in the sequence that makes up the movie.

Movies that have a single track m2ts file are fine.

Any idea? It is as if it does not find the next file in time? And it is on a local drive, not a network share.

Really? No one has issues with multiple m2ts movie tracks?

No, the issue on the 200 with multi-m2ts movies is that the film length is show as the fileclip and not the movie length.

Playback is fine though on the ones i've checked on the A300.

Now some Disney movies are multi-m2ts but they are also really bad to playback. So its not a multi-m2ts thing its a Disney thing that the 200 experienceses. Are you sure that it is not a Disney issue?

Nope it is a Dreamworks title.

Same problem on a Disney disk on A-300. Any fixes for this?

The only fix I know is a workaround, Remux the main movie out into one big m2ts file into BDMV structor. You do loose the menu, and any forced subtitle settings.
