A-200 cannot view shared content after new modem install
Hi,
I used the A-200 for almost 2 years without a problem to view all of my local network. Few days ago, after changing the modem and adsl company, my router : "Netgear WNDR3700" shouted he must switch the locals IP to 10.0.0.1 in order for it to work well with the new modem. I have checked that all of my computers are shared and can see each others content. I have here 2 pcs, and a laptop all with win7. The popcorn machine is able to see the list of shared computers in the WORKGROUP, but when choosing one it says "No Content Found on Server". I am able to enter the directories of the popcorn though. I haven't changed anything else except of the above mentioned router issue, so I guess this is the problem. The a-200 can play internet radio, so the only problem is with the connection to the pc. it also shows it got a new IP number in the 10.0.0.# series. I have also tried to manually input the shared folder, it did showed me the files in the folder, but couldn't play any. only showed a black screen as if its stuck. please help... |

RE: A-200 cannot view shared content after new modem install
"Amazingly" I have found the Microsoft Essential Live software was installed on my pc in the past, removing this S&|T solved the problem.
Hope it helps others out there... |
