PPP3 Doesn't Display With Component Video

You need to check the settings on the Onkyo.

What it may be is that if it gets an HDMI signal then it's passing through pretty much as-is, but with a component signal it may be engaging the scaler in case its standard-def, and may as a consequence be deciding to output at 1080p which it sounds like your TV can't handle.

You need to check the receiver settings to see if you can configure that component input to output 1080i 60Hz (so leave the Popcorn Hour in mode 8) whatever input format it receives.
