A-210 with WN-150 issues

I have had my A-210 for a while now and have been using a wired network. I recently moved to a new place of residence and have purchased a WN-150 in order to avoid running 20m of cable along the walls.

Here is the situation and list of issues:

A-210 pics up DHCP from my Sitecom Gaming Router (802.11n draft). With iHome running on the server the A-210 can pick up everything on the server. Start playing a file and it will play for a few minutes before the video freezes then dumps me back to the explorer.
The only way to resolve it is to restart the PC and the A-210.
I am playing SD videos only and there are no other devices connected to the network.
The A-210 registers a signal strength of 90% because the router is 2m away from it.
Is there a setting in Windows 7 that I am missing. I have set the power management to Max power and told device manager to never turn off the network card. Hard drives are never shut down (did this setting to try and trouble shoot).

My other alternative is to put the server next to the TV and use the WN-150 to connect my gaming PC to the router which will be connected to the server and A-210 via gigabit ethernet. Would prefer to keep both PCs at my desk.

Any advice and assistance will be appreciated.
