argh ... how do I access my popcorn usb key from my computer ??
I there,
I have browsed the forum and know how to do it, but it is not working. I have my popcorn with all apps running (samba, nfs, etc ...), and I want to access my internal USB key from my compuer , but that is not working. I try to "map a network drive" called \\192.168.1.9\, but it tells windows can not access it. I have several shares setup, and I can ping the popcorn from my computer (windows vista). My popcorn is also in "WORKGROUP", like my computer What could be wrong here ?? Many Thanks ! |

RE: argh ... how do I access my popcorn usb key from my computer ??
the Partitions on the USB drive are Hidden... just like those partitions would have been on the EXT3 harddisk.
So nothings wrong
PCH-A100/A210/C200/A400 500GB EXT3 HDD<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 13 NTFS USB drives on 3 hubs attached to the A300, 3 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box |

RE: argh ... how do I access my popcorn usb key from my computer ??
well, last time I was able to copy some media files on my usb key by mapping it.
The problem is not that I do not see the hidden partitions, the problem is that I can't access the usb key from my computer. Let's say I want to copy some files on it from my computer; how do I proceed ? I am talikng about the access we do with nmt/nmt1234 |

ok, found it ...
I do not need to map \\192.168.1.9, but \\192.168.1.9\share (nmt / 1234) I guess "share" is by default a created directry on the USB key when installing the apps (Because I have never created this "share" myself) ? |

Share drive name and folders like video ect are created by the Firmware.
