Cover Art and set up Summary
I have two questions:
1-Where would be the most appropriate place to provide a detailed summary of the details of setting up my two jukeboxes? If there is any interest, I would be happy to to detail the process and to share the areas that were confusing and/or sticking points for me as a jukebox newbie on a Mac in the set up of my system. 2-I have one remaining movie that still has no cover art on the movie wall and I cannot figure out how to fix it. I am running the YAMJ 2.6 r2932, the latest Eversion flash skin and evHell. I am also running iSkin v 0.8a on a separate web share. I've updated my moviejukebox properties to filename.nfo.checknewer=true to force the system to check an updated NFO file. After initial indexing, there were about 6 out of over 250 movies that did not have correct or any cover art on the movie wall. I added NFO files that pointed to the IMDB link for those movies and that fixed most of the issues. There were a couple of those movies where the IMDB link did not pull the info, so I updated the NFO files on those to themoviedb.org link and that seemed to do the trick. For one last movie, Beauty Shop, this has not worked. Two interesting things-On the movie details page, I do get a background picture and the appropriate movie info displays. Everything is there except the cover art on the movie wall page. The other thing is that the cover art does show on my iSkin jukebox on the ipad. The filename is: Beauty Shop (2005).mkv The nfo file is: Beauty Shop (2005).NFO I have tried the following links in the nfo file and then ran YAMJ: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388500/ http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/14177-beauty-shop http://www.filmaffinity.com/en/film903295.html None of the NFO links have caused the cover art to download and show. Anyone have any idea why this last movie will not get any cover art? Is there some setting that I have missed? Thank you. |

newbie summary and missing cover art
I have two questions:
1-Where would be the most appropriate place to provide a detailed summary of the details of setting up my two jukeboxes? I am running the YAMJ 2.6 r2932, the latest Eversion flash skin and evHell. I read on another reply that the newest revision is r2944. I will run that revision, but am not sure that is the issue because the problem is only happening with one last movie. RE: Cover Art and set up Summary
1) Probably the best place is here.
If you take a look at the mac guides on the YAMJ wiki and see what needs updating, I can then update those entries to be up to date. I don't have a Mac, so I'm not able to verify the completeness of them. 2) You should check the log files for errors on the posters. Sometimes the poster is being retrieved, but not transformed correctly and therefore not being used. |

RE: Cover Art and set up Summary
In the jukebox log, I found a number of entries for Beauty Shop like this for the different movie scrape sites: rejected: URL width (338.0) is smaller than poster width (367)
So it looks like the cover art is being found, it is just not the right size. I thought that there was a setting to allow for off-size cover art, but I can't seem to find it. |

RE: Cover Art and set up Summary
I updated the following jukebox properties from true to false.
poster.scanner.Validate=false poster.scanner.google.Validate=false I now have 100% cover art including the Beauty Shop Movie. Hopefully turning off the size validation won't mess something up later |

RE: Cover Art and set up Summary
Nope, but it does mean that somethings will slip through that are undersized and could look ugly when scaled.
The other options is to download that poster specifically and place it in the folder as the local art is not checked for size |
