in other thread, some people write that c300 is faster than c200... ahahhahahaha a big joke: it is the opposite !!

features missing, a lot of bugs, regression with respect to previous c200 and worst, a110 !!!

If a brand have this attitude on their products, you should not trust it anymore, not even for c-500 and c-600 afterwards, but I do think we will finally get an update...

I guess the developers face bottleneck when developing the firmware, but I do think that truehd and blu-ray drive compatibility problem should fix ASAP...

To keep you entertained while you wait, they Added Mature Content Feature to AppsMarket. You should be distracted for awhile until it is fixed.

Also the unit will prompt you with an update if you reboot it or hit online update (going to home screen might be enough)

Online update is not yet available, am updating mine via USB.

EDIT: Ooops, got carried away with the excitement and thought this was for A-300. Ignore my comment about the online update.

No sound from many BR's since March is a pet peeve? Nope it too big an issue, I'd say it's a major peeve .... A better example of a pet peeve is that you can't get attached USB drive free space left like on the 200's. When you watch a movie, audio is essential unless you're a lip reader.

It's your pet peeve, it's the thing you can't have fixed fast enough to make you happy.. Everyone has at least 1.. I agree this one is up there on the major problems list, but it's also a problem you could temporarily work around until it's fully functional. Not ideal, I do understand where your coming from, but not more important than HD audio broken for everything.

btw, you keep saying as mentioned???? where is it mentioned that it's still broken? your posting literally seconds after the firmware was on the support site.. Did you actually try it to see if this is really still broken..

Just caught the mention in the release notes.. It says it's unstable.. Generally that means it's a lot of little complicated to reproduce problems and some of them are still unfixed.. it may very well be fixed for all of your discs, and it's not still broken, it's just not flawlessly fixed yet.. So they are addressing it..

Judging by the posts my "pet" peeve is shared by quite a few others, heh? Nope, same 50+ discs still no sound. Unstable for some, no sound for me, its not even "semi-flawlesslly" fixed. At least PH didnt claim that this audio issue was fixed. "Can't have it fixed fast enough" ...... haha thanks for the humor it's appreciated! As far as the workaround your right I've been using it, and it works.

I'm not trying to make you feel better about the situation and I get the frustration. Not everyone uses bluray discs. Maybe they are still working with sigma on fixing it.. maybe the sigma fix broke everything else.. We really don't know.. For some reason this particular bug needs more time..

I'm happy they aren't making everyone else who doesn't use bluray discs wait for 1 more fix.. I see bugs that are 2-3 years old and still don't work on the 200s fixed finally.. It's always going to piss you off your pet peeve isn't fixed yet, but it's going to make some people who waited years finally get their pet peeve fixed..

This looks like a really good release with a lot of changes worthy of 6 months without an update.
