audio does not play on files...

Let me begin by saying I love this popcorn hour. It is the best at just playing video. Forget everything else: apps, iu, music, pictures / it was the bomb, and it may be done.

Everything that used to work as of the last 3 years seems to have gone silent on the audio side of the video playback. Everything that is in divx, vbr, mp3, mkv, is silent. Hi Def files with fancy audio still work... New or older it doesn't make a difference. It probably affecting 1.5TB of my 3TB library.

I went back and usb uploaded the firmware from 2009, 2010 (1), AND 2010(2). One at a time and the problem did not go away. Each time I got verification of the older firmware in the display. I've been working on it for a few days. Time to put it on the shelf. Maybe time will be an ally.

I will head out to BB and p.u the latest WD product as they work. I don't like it better, but there are no games or mysteries here. Let me know if you can fix the popcorn hour as it is the best when it is working. Hands down!

Couple things to try tap the volume button on the pch remote or try changing the video resolution hit save then change it back and hit save again.
