and my PSU on my C-200 broke, 80$ with shipping to Denmark for a replacement, i might say i have been patience, but now with lack of support on bug issues im fed up with popcorn hour.

I hated A300 quite a long time. Then I ended up sending it back for RMA (repair). I got another one a week later. Now I don't have anymore reboots. The reboot problems mainly come from a bad A300 serie. I advise you to RMA yours too.

By the way, you can't compare A300 to ATV2. ATV2 doesn't do 3D. A2TV is limited to a max of 12MB/s network bandwith... so forget about those big bluray files... And the sound you get is far from any audiophile perspective.

With the current firmware and a "not defective" A300 unit, it works like a charm except for a few issues : no sound from FLAC with a quality above 16bits 48 KHz in passthrough, and still a few subtitles issues. These MUST be fixed. But one can live with those issues I think.

Since everybody's been complaining that bugs, especially that subtitles issue like forever and it had been several firmware released without any substantial efforts regarding that, I begin to wonder if that bugs is actually fixable.

Since there is so widespread bugs and separated teams, developers are working on fixes, there is no chance of super fast releases. My feeling is that PCH devices never should be announced as mainstream PnP since the fact is that PCH always will be a product in sort of beta state. It's hard to believe PCH will be the killer device. If you can accept to use the A-300 for single task such as myself only for .mkv movies and external subs its flawless. Kind of an expensive device for that. Hopefully lots of issues get fixed soon.

38 times in 20 minutes of movie.

What are you posting in a firmware thread for? This thread is for questions on this firmware alone.

If you have problems then ask for help instead of posting in the wrong section, wrong thread, and using silly large letters etc.

Garbage in garbage out?
Using HD sub/idx or AAC audio perhaps?

Try using component cables...

I decided to sell my A300, because support has a huge problem..
subtitle is very bad "on 16:9 is ok" rest is crappy,subtitle syncronization problem when forward back function, black screen when play-stop.... and many other bugs...
22.04.2012 and is still not resolved the critical problem.
I waited a lot to can be solved it and nothing happened.
