Hi !

When I tries to turn off the subtitle on a dvd movie, then the syb_framework crash with this error message :

(*) Post AMP command
(*) Post AMP command
(*) Post AMP command
(!) [ 5043: 0.000] --> Caught signal 11 (at (nil), invalid address) <--
(!) [ 4985: 0.003] --> Caught signal 11 (at 0x4, invalid address) <--
Segmentation fault


I have also seen this bug in the old 05-01-111125-23-POP-421-000 version.

Please fix !

Listening of FLAC files the passtrough mode of PCM still is downmixing!!! the singnal to multichannel by hdmi... can not listen the flac files in stereo!!! They are joking with this update.

I just wanted to say Thanks for the Firmware Update. Looks like a lot of stuff got fixed and were off to a good start. I'm suprised to see all the negative comments about the firmware and not very many Thanks.

Im confused. Are you saying its not outputting multichannel but only stereo. I just tested the 5.1 flac sample located here

and it outputted all 5.1 speakers on my onkyo avr.

Or he is playing stereo FLAC and his dolby prologic receiver is turning it to 5.1 surround and he is blaming the A300.....

What is this subtitle in mkv bug everyone is talking about? It's the only thing that keeps me from buying yet.. I use only mkv's with PGS subtitles.. how will this affect me if I get an A-300? Converting the collection to srt is a no go.. 500++ movies..

Csy7550,subs get out of sync if you select it in the MKV or when you rewind or go forward in the movie most of the time when you using the dts track or other high audio stream. Only thing that would stop me from buying from syabas is that it takes to long that they come with a fix for bugs.

Had the same problem. Pressing Stop and Play resolved it (every time )

Is there no workaround? All my movies are mkv with dts/dts hdma and pgs subtitles. I use subtitles all the time. Guess I have to wait for a fix before I buy :/

@ Willem53: Why do you ask who is faster? That doesn't matter, we should not begin to compare, it's all about the, in my opinion, huge bug-out-of-sync-problem with PGS subs and MKV. Most of my time I use MKV and what now? Still have to wait 3 months again for an update? It's not an attack to the technicians, but but what should I do with a malfunctioning mediaplayer? Please just fix it... or do I have to buy the A-200 again? That would be strange.. isn't it?

Don't make me noob please, master... Imagine that I can understand and I see the diffrence between input and output singnal at my receiver...anyway I have A-210 too and that problem doesn't exist! All flacs files are playing in stereo and there is working passthrough and downmix mode perfectly in mediabox.

So if you didn't test it don't say something what doesn't help nobody.

There is a problem with playing stereo FLAC's - the output signal is MULTICHANNEL only (by hdmi of course)! It doesn't matter if there is passthrough or downmix mode enabled!

Look I don't work for PCH or Syabas... I don't have to fix anything..
If you looking for the customer service department to complain... send them an email... this is a user forum run by users just like you.
If someone claims they are "to slow" in fixing... can't I ask who is faster?

downmixing is multichannel codec to stereo PCM... so it's not downmixing but it's using 4 extra channels with no audible signal.. when you expect it to use 2 channels?.
does it use front left and right in the correct way and do you hear anything from center and rear?
