still no SMB?
I know theres a million of these threads but cant figure out what im missing this time. Have managed to get c200 up and running again in the past after fresh windows installs with a bit of tinkering.. but not now, running windows 7 same as before

in my advanced sharing settings

network discovery is on
file printer sharing on
public folders off
media streaming off
56 bit encryption selected
password protected sharing off in both home and public profiles, have tried with this on as well
user accounts and passwords used to connect to computers

folders are shared with permissions to everyone
windows live sign in assistant is not installed
ive made those 2 registry adjustments
guest account is enabled, although I havnt had to enable this in the past
firewall currently disabled while i try to get this thing going, havnt had issues with that in the past either
network cables are plugged in and pc is switched on

pc shows up in network browser, but getting the no content found on server
i can still access my YAMJ through the shares i previously had set manually in the PCH

anybody know what im missing??

RE: still no SMB?
did you check the permissions of the actual files and folders in the share? (the share permissions to access the share and the file/folder permissions to access those are separate)

RE: still no SMB?
I'm not going to be too much more help, I don't use shares in windows at all. I know mcafee if you put their firewall in has the option where oyu need to authorize devices/computers in addition to windows security options.

someone with more knowledge should be around shortly Smile

Things auto-update. Are you sure you checked all your other settings and a windows update didn't put them back?

Network broswer on nmt or map the /share as network drive on pc should end up as z:/share
