Has playback of Ordered Chapters ever been implemented?
I was just wondering if playback of ordered chapters (having multiple versions of a movie in 1 mkv) has ever been implemented?
A search on this gave me a few entries of people requesting it a long time ago, and I have one of those waiting to be played, so....
Can anyone shed a light on this?

In short, no.
It could be useful but I don't know how you'd choose which variant you wanted to play from your jukebox, etc., so I can see all sorts of pitfalls with any actual implementation.
Plus there are enough bugs left to resolve in MKV files as it is that I don't think this is necessarily the right road for Syabas to try to break new ground on at the moment!

I agree this shouldn't have high priority. My main question was if it's already there. It's a petty it isn't, but I'll live
