can't find torrent
hi guys! i've just noticed that i can't seem to find the torrent application at the apps market. before there was but now it seems i can't find it.

i've tried plugging in a USB and it seems that it can't read the *.torrent. how do we enable torrents in the 300 series? thanks!

RE: can't find torrent
You are looking in the wrong place.

Torrent App is part of the NMT Applications. You enter them, after installing them first, via the Settings > NMT Application and then turn ON the torrent app.

It's transmission v2.13 from memory.

Download the revised A300 user manual I posted in the stick at the top fo the 300 installation section, as the url in the PCH one is incorrect.

A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI
CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407

i've already installed the nmt applications and started the torrent in the setup page..but when i select a *.torrent file from the usb drive it says "An error occured cannot proceed your request" what does this mean? thanks!
can i still access torrent files on the popcorn hour in the tv? or do i always have to use the PC to control the files? i was able to access http://192.xxx.x.xx:8883/torrent/bt.cgi using my laptop..but couldn't find the torrent application..thanks!

RE: can't find torrent
The url is wrong. You obviously ignored my post above about downloading the revised A300 manual.

You need to enter:-
http://IPofNMT:8077/transmission/web

The torrent application is NOT part of the firmware. The torrent application is installed onto the location where you install the NMT Apps. So if you install the NMT Apps on a USB stick that is where the torrent client is installed. You cannot therefore unplug the location of your NMT Apps and expect torrents to work.

yes i followed your instruction..what i mean is that i cannot access the torrent files directly from the pch itself? i still have to enter http://IPofNMT:8077/transmission/web on my pc just to access the torrent files am i right?

before i was able to put *.torrent files directly to the nmt media destination using my usb flash drive or internal hard drive..

RE: can't find torrent
You mean you cannot control the client or check ratios or upload a .tnt file to the player from using the player? Is that what you mean?

Don't think you can, I don't use torrents apart from checking the manual url etc. and the features to answer a few user queries.

Did you used to be able in say early 100 series days when bpd was the client and through webservices?

yes that's right..yes i was able to use the torrent and upload the *.torrent file directly to the pch without using any PC. i was able to monitor the status of the torrent files through the web services.

so in short we need to use the PC to control the torrent files? to view the status, upload etc? thanks!
