ISO files sometimes stuttering
Hello,
I have some ISO files which always play fine when located on a 2.5" 250Go HDD connected USB but are sometimes stuttering when i try to play them from a 3.5" 1.5To HDD also connected USB. This HDD is a 4k sectors (WD EARS) formatted NTFS with XP. This drive has not been aligned. I also have MKV files on this drive but never have problem with them (except when the PCH starts to stutter because of an ISO file). The PCH has been updated with the last firmware (April 2011). Can somebody tell me if the 4k sectors size could be the explanation of this problem ? Thank you by advance. |
