cannot access external hdd with apple extreme router

hello,

pls help, im using an apple extreme router with an external hard drive. when i first bought my apple extreme router i can access the external hard drive from my pch a210, but now i can't see in my pch the external hdd but when i use my laptop i can see the hdd connected to the router, i restart the router and disable then enable the file sharing but still no luck. I can see my base station name in pch but not the hdd. PCH is wired to the apple router. thanks
