Sky Go App? Any ideas?

Hi all,

I've recently been connecting my laptop to a TV to watch Sky using the online go.sky service. This has got a little annoying and I hoped to be able to do this through the popcorn hour (c-200) already connected to the TV.

First I thought that a browser might be available to download and navigate to the go.sky webpage. But no such luck, and I don't think it would work anyway as you need to have silverlight installed which tends to be a problem on linux machines.

Even so, it seems that there are multiple Sky Go apps, available for Apple devices and now even Android. I guess that the Android App is opensource and in theory could be backwards engineered and compiled for the PCH. This is way beyond my ability and I'm not quite sure where I would start.

Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

Open source sky app, you jest?

I can't even use sky go on my jailbroken ipad! Well I can but I have to circumvent things.

Sky go is intended to be mobile, so I doubt they would sign off on pch, especially as it holds a hdd.
