Set up JAMJ with a NAS help please
I've followed all the guides to get YAMJ working on my PopCorn Hour A110.
I just have a question about the path to use in library.xml for my NAS. The guide says : NFS & SMB file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/VIDEOS/Films/ I'm not sure if i need to replace NETWORK_SHARE with my share name from my NAS or leave it as NETWORK_SHARE. When i access my nas from windows XP its referenced as \\<ip>\media\Movies where media is the share and Movies is a folder. I've currently set this in library.xml :- <path>\\\\<ip of NAS on network>\media\Movies\</path> <playerpath>file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/media/Movies/</playerpath> does this look correct? I'm accessing the NAS over NFS from my popcorn. Also when i want to install YJAMJ to i put the index.html and Jukebox folder in my popcorn hour via FTP or do i put it on my NAS somewhere? Cheers for any help |

RE: Set up JAMJ with a NAS help please
Hi Lava,
To get this working you need to add a share on the pch to map to your NAS. Yo can do this in the "Network Share" menu on the pch - put in the ip address of the NAS, the folder, share name and username/password. Have a look at page 36 in the guide for more details on this The the library file just needs the share name you used. So if you called the share Lavamovies and the films are in a subfolder called Movies the path would look like: Code: file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/Lavamovies/Movies/The alternative if you use Eversion is to use direct paths which need no setup on the pch: PHP Code: <playerpath>smb://[NasUserName=password]ip.of.nas/Movies/</playerpath> PchTrakt | YAMJ wiki
