[YAMJ + EVERSION] Box sets cover art

After some trial an error, I was able to get a box set to work. This the way I finally got them to group together.

[SET The Twilight Saga] The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1.(2011).(DVDRip).avi
[SET The Twilight Saga] The Twilight Saga Eclipse.(2010).(DVDRip).avi

So now finally there isn't 2 seperate covers on the main page. But, I'm dissapointed. I have an A-300 and my friend has an older A-110 he is using YAMJ with HTML older, ofcourse I'm using eversion flash. When his box sets show up it shows a cover art with like 4, 5 boxes piled on top of each other, mine just shows one, how can I get it to show multiple dvd boxes on top of each other. He told me to name my files as follows,
[SET Trilogy Movie 1]
[SET Trilogy Movie 2]
but this never worked for me, only when I took out the 1, and 2 etc did it work. Is there any way for the box set to show up with multiple boxes? Here is an example.



Finally, I've searched but no dice, is there any way to add a CONCERT menu and add videos to that category?

for the 1rst item - boxset with multiple piled cover, it's how the poster is constructed - probably the skin uses an overlay that contains piled cover when it's a boxset - to reproduce the same thing with eversion, you have to find which overlay is used, add to your overlay library, change the standart overlay used for a single cover to the new one on the overlay.properties for the set treatment and rerun yamj (before delete the poster for the sets)


for 2nd item if you want to add a genre CONCERT which is not a downloaded one from the scrapper, you may construct this genre manually using an NFO file for the movies/video you would add to this genre - adding a genre field with CONCERT as genre

that looks like he is using boxcovers which is a tool you run and it rewrites the jukebox artwork with covers around it..stacking a set is one of the features it has.. there should be a thread around here for it and in theory it still work just fine.. IIRC it was originally part of nmtserver so it might be in the first post of the nmtserver thread.

Of course, you can also just ask your friend what he is running.. it's a lot easier than us guessing

Just spoke with him, you nailed it, he is running NMT server, and looks like yes he is running boxcvoers.. on to research I go... this is turning into a major hobby.

your not using nmt server on a 300.. it doesn't support html..

but you shold be able to use the boxcover tool which doesnt' matter what pch you have..

I DID IT!!!! a little experimenting.. this worked for me.

1. Follow directions install boxcovers http://ithiel.home.xs4all.nl/nmt/boxcovers_help.html
2. When naming your video do as follows with this example, my friend told me to put 1 and 2, but I do that YAMJ seperates the covers on the wall, when I tried without numbers it worked.

Box covers also added starts, and logo such as 720p or 1080 all customizeable.. love it!

CORRECTION:
For the box set to work using naming convention you have to use -1, -2 etc as per the example below. Then if you want for the box covers to appear piled as seen above, then you have to sue the boxcovers software.

Just an update, I loaded latest version of Yamj r3028, and it now creates the multi cover art for box sets, so no need to run extra boxcover program.

It does? I haven't seen any mention of anything recently in any release notes.. was there a setting you needed to add? perhaps it's a specific skin that set up the overlays todo this for you when it's a set.. I ask because I hate set logos but I woudln't mind a small stack

Unless I'm missing something, I just tried it again deleting the entire jukebox folder, re-running Yamj, and not running cdboxcovers afterwards and they are there.

can you explain your setup a little more, which eskin, are there overlays for it? I don't think this is yamj itself but whatever overlays your using for your eskin

I have 4 box sets, and 2 of them are coming through without me running boxcovers program. I'm at a loss at how Yamj is creating them, only thing I can think of is mayb IMDB has coverart that looks like what boxcovers program does for certain trilogy. I mean I delete, entire jukebox folder, have no trace of either box cover art, I delete Yamj filecache.txt file and run YAMJ run fresh, and 2 out of my 4 sets get a box cover created that looks like what Boxcovers does, how not sure unles IMDB has it and YAMJ is pulling it down.
