Flash audio issue w/ passthrough
I am using the latest firmware/apps.
The way my system is set up is that all video goes through HDMI. All audio goes through coax to an external DAC. If i try to play flash content, in certain situations the audio will become high frequency white noise. And even if I stop playback, the white noise remains. Even if I try to play a non-flash file like a local library file, the white noise remains. I have to reboot the A-300. The second the A-300 goes down, the white noise stops. Here's what I do to make this issue happen: I play something using flash, eg. a Youtube clip. Then, I go and play one of my library files, ie. non-flash content like an avi/mkv. Then, I go back to play flash content again. The issue occurs most of the time. Also, when I reboot the device and begin playing flash content, the sound is not present, and I have to shut down the clip and start it again before sound plays. So clearly, flash-based sound is not working well in this set up. |

RE: Flash audio issue w/ passthrough
do you have hdmi audio disabled? there is something similar with the v8s and non-hdmi audio going on, but it's not exactly the same problem because there are less dacs in the v8

RE: Flash audio issue w/ passthrough
Yes, HDMI audio is disabled. I had everything set to passthrough. I will try with everything downmixed except AC3/DTS.

RE: Flash audio issue w/ passthrough
