Torrent crash (transmission)
Hi,
Most of the times when i load a torrent file in my pch A210. my pch will crash. This happends not everytime. But 60% of the time. When the download is complete and the torrent is seeding there is no crash. Is there a way to fix this? Or is it better to install another version of transmission with C.S.I? |

RE: Torrent crash (transmission)
Sounds like the high speed TCP transfer crash. What's your maximum transfer rate? If it's above 10mbit you could be dealing with that. Try if it disappears if you set a maximum speed of around 8mbit (1MB/s).
If that makes it disappear you can try setting the receive buffers different as that fixes this bug. You can do this via telnet. The commands are Code: echo 524288 > /proc/sys/net/core/rmem_defaultYou'll need to execute these command on each boot (automatically or manually). Alternatively you can install either LTU Transmission or the CSI Transmission package (> 2.42) as those automatically execute these commands. |

RE: Torrent crash (transmission)
used http://POPCOPRNHOURIP:8883/torrent/bt.cgi
to set the dl speed to 950 kb's sec. Hope this will fix my problem. Does install csi transmission also fix this? |

Ps. I won't be surprised if you like either Transmission Remote GUI or http://POPCOPRNHOURIP:9091/transmission/web/ better as interface. |
