C200 without hard drive?
I've moved al my media files to my external nas. Can i just open up the C200 en remove my internal HD? And use a usb stick for NMT?
C-200 connected via HDMI to Onkyo TX-NR609, Harman/Kardon 16BQ and a LG 42LW4500 3D tv. Got my C-200 stuffed with a LG CH08LS10 and internal 16Gb usb stick. External QNAP 219 with 4TB. Running Firmware 03-04-120309-21-POP-408 RC2 Survived 3 dead PSU's

RE: C200 without hard drive?
The same for me. No problem and you get a completely silent device. Performance is the same as far as I've noticed.
As you probably guessed you will need to re-install the NMT apps on the USB stick. And it's nicest to use the internal USB connector. C200 + 4GB USB stick + LiteOn BD-rom and A400 without internal storage via HDMI to Yamaha RX-V767 receiver to LG 47LW650S full HD TV and Panasonic PT-AE3000U full HD beamer, all media on Synology DS411j |
