Adding Movies
Hi Guys,
I am slowly but surely getting to grips with NMJ, Buggy as it is I am planning on not going back to Yamj. I am trying to add films that do not seem to of been added, also I just want to add them manually as sometimes when I do an update of all folders I do not get the results I desire. When I add a file I am getting the warning Invalid file path, I do not understand why? Any help will be greatly received! |

RE: Adding Movies
(04-10-2012 09:47 PM)simondk Wrote: 108 Views and no suggestions Ive only just purchased a C300 so i dont proclaim to be an expert, but i havent had any problems adding movies that are located on the same drive i have the particular jukebox installed on. I also connect via a network with nmjtoolbox2 and add files manually, again that are in the correct folder on the PCH. If its any help, I dont think it likes connecting to the PCH through unc (\\pch-c300\usb1) and prefers a mapped windows drive. using nmjtoolbox2 with a mapped drive ive been manually adding tv series, movies, music with no issues at all. when i use the builtin nmj manager, i was initially getting movies named wrong but I worked out (with the help of the forums) that if you name the movie movietitle.year.avi (example "a clockwork orange.1971.mkv) it seems to find the info correctly. and for tv series: seriesname.season no.ep-no series name.avi (ie the simpsons.season 1.1 pilot.avi) it again finds the info correctly. it works even better with nmjtoolbox2. hope this helps. regards |

RE: Adding Movies
NMJ will work properly with Filesets/TV-Series (so far) if you use the filename structure it likes.
You may get an idea looking at TV Series vs. Movie browsing or at [HOWTO Thread] |

RE: Adding Movies
Filepath error is basically because you have not gone into the Settings->Paths menu and told NMJToolbox the windows path that will take you to the folder that the PCH sees. If you need help on thi post in the official NMJToolbox2 thread and give details of your setup and what is in your PCH_Path entry in NMJT2.
Samsung PS50P96FD Plasma (ISF Calibrated), Sony BDP-S550, SkyHD, HDMI 4x2 Matrix, Synology 1511+ with DX510 25TB NAS, Onkyo 605 receiver, Kef Q Series speakers QED cables. C200 & A210, A300 1.5TB Internal HDD in each. |
