Popcorn Hour C-300 with Logitech Harmony 1100
Hi I did go through wiki on this but, I am still a bit confused, So I just bought an "Logitech Harmony 1100" and trying to set it up to work with Popcorn Hour C-300. I went under media center pc and added the C-300 but still it does not work Sad. My question is is there something I am missing some sort of extra extender or kit ? Or is it something else please shed some light on this any help would be appreciated

RE: Popcorn Hour C-300 with Logitech Harmony 1100
The C300 has both an IR and Rf receiver in the player. So no matter if you remote uses IR or RF it should be picked up. The C200 required a IR receiver but the C300 has done away with that having both types of receiver available on the player.

I have a Harmony ONE that I've used on my A300. When in the Harmony database select IRK-200 and change the centre navpad to Enter rather than the E key on the remote.

Do you have to go into Settings to select the receiver type on the player for the remote? IR or Rf, not sure as dont have a C300.

A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI
CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407

I also have a Harmony 1100 , are you using the AVreceiver to control the popcorn or the Remote directly ? I was having problems using the AV receiver .

Does the A300 have the RF receiver in it as well? I have the Harmony 1000 and was trying to use the Harmony RF extended receiver but every press of the button moves the cursor 3 spots at a time and I adjusted it down to 0 and it still has the problem. If I can't fix this I may not be able to use it in my AV system since this has to be located in my mech room.

Only C models have RF.

sounds like reflections off the walls, surfaces. harmony makes a RF to IR receiver that will let you use ir blasters which cover the ir sensor on the pch and RF control. I think they can do up to 4 devices from 1 receiver.

I am using the RF to IR extender. But, one button press moves 3 spaces. I set the sensitivity to "0" and it still moving 3 spaces. I was hoping that I can find a alternate solution or get the Harmony working. That was why I asked about the possibility of an RF radio in the A-300.

I use the Harmony 525 (IR) and it's great. They do take a bit of configuring though...
