"Newzbin server changed its protocol"

Hi

I'm using SabNZBd 0.6.x together with SickBeard and Couchpotatoe on my Popcorn Hour A300 and I'm loving it However, when I use Newzbin in `index sites`, I get these error/messages:

2012-04-07 12:55:46,761 ERROR: Newzbin server changed its protocol

I guess because Newzbin changed its domainname from "newzbin.com" to "newzbin2.es" I get my errormessage.

Does anybody out here know how I can fix this error? Thanks very much

Moved to UserApps as Sickbeard/Couchpotatoe and not offical supported apps.

Where did the error come from?

Sabnzbd does not use providers like Couchpotato and sickbeard, so it should not give that error. If you told Sabnzbd to watch a feed from newzbin.com you just need to change the feed address to newzbin2.es.

If the error came from Couchpotato or Sickbeard, then that should not of happened as they both had fixes for this a while back.

To help more i would need more from the log file and what program the log was from.

that's an error you would see in sabnzbd especially if you added the login info for newsbin. has nobody recently updated sabnzbd for the pch? it really needs it

Thanks acc, forgot about the built in index sites option in Sabnzbd, i thought this was a feed he had added to the feeds list.

I've said in the Sabnzbd thread how to update, it's just a case on downloading the latest linux version(source) and overwriting files. I am also working on a way to always install the latest version of Sabnzb so that when new versions are released i do not have to update the install file every time.

I think the current CSI version is 0.6.9 and the latest version is 0.6.15 but as 0.7 is due out soon'ish, i don't want to release anything just yet incase i will have to redo it all again soon after for use with 0.7, even more so if 0.7 comes with an updater like Sickbeard and Couchpotato.

pchtrakt installs using a git clone.. perhaps your installer should work the same. minor php script with 1 button to update should handle that problem with a git pull and restart

I looked into that before the first release but the official Sab is not on git there is a sub branch on there but i wanted to keep to the main files.

ATM the Sab install will check if Sab is already installed and then stop, I am thinking to find a way i can see if a new version is out and do an update but this would happen everytime Sab was started and i am unsure if users would accept this.

I will do some testing later today to see what i can come up with.
