[YAMJ] Not Using Posters for TV Shows

Just done a fresh scan of YAMJ and for most of my TV shows the posters aren't used but it's just a random screen shot from the show.



Is there anyway to get YAMJ to force it to use the poster that's already there "poster.jpg" or to actually go out and scan for a poster?

what software did you use that has poster.jpg? never heard of that naming before. not sure if there is a property available to use that naming.

to me, It looks like your using a tool setup for xbmc? maybe sickbeard? change the yamj properties for valid artwork and remove the tbn extension. you'll need to delete the artwork from the jukebox folder to let it rebuild.

you don't have to delete what you have with your videos.. the jukebox folder is the artwork yamj is displaying.. to make sure it remakes it you need to remove the artwork from there. your originals are fine but again i'm not sure about the poster.jpg one. most of the conflicting names have a .tbn extension so just setting up yamj to not use that artwork should be enough to let your xbmc files be ok and let yamj find the correct artwork without conflict

to be honest, it's become confusing the last year or two with xbmc artwork.. there's a lot of alternative names and just saved on your drive stuff that the skinners made for it.. so the same name can be a few different types of artwork

Is there a way to force YAMJ to just forget about using my own nfo and art work files and force it to download everything off the net?

I ended up deleting all the content anyway since I rarely use XBMC anymore. Worked fine. The only issue I have is that YAMJ isn't as good as Oversight in recognizing file names so I've had to go back and rename alot.
